This project produced a web service that allows the numerical simulation and visualization of the launching, penetration and pull-out process of torpedo piles in the seabed. This service, developed in partnership with PETROBRAS, provides valuable information for the design of this anchoring mechanism: depth and velocity of pile penetration, and pull-out load capacity, among others. Using WebTorp, LCCV performed analyses and verifications of projects of torpedo piles of a FPSOBR, assessing its penetration depth and load capacity.
